Position Overview
The Learnership – Lubricant Manufacturing Plant (LMP) is a 12-month structured program designed to provide young professionals with practical exposure to manufacturing operations and engineering functions. Learners will be placed at TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa’s Durban LMP, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical, chemical, electrical, instrumentation, or industrial engineering disciplines.
This learnership is ideal for youth with a National Senior Certificate (Matric) who are looking to develop their technical and operational skills in a professional energy environment.
Key Responsibilities

Participate in a structured learnership program covering practical and theoretical aspects of lubricant manufacturing operations.

Assist with day-to-day operational activities under supervision.

Support the maintenance and production teams in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or instrumentation tasks.

Adhere to HSEQ policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.

Complete learnership assessments, projects, and practical exercises as required by the program.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:

National Senior Certificate (Matric)

NTC4 Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering
Added Advantage:

TVET qualification in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics Management
Experience:
