About the Role
The Junior Branch Marketer will be responsible for marketing agricultural products, supporting sales targets, and ensuring effective stock control within the retail branch. The role involves continuous engagement with customers, promoting products, and maintaining strong client relationships through professional service delivery.
This position offers exposure to agricultural retail operations and provides ongoing development through training within the VKB Group’s extensive retail network.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Product Marketing
The successful candidate will actively market agricultural merchandise in line with agreed sales targets, promoting products to walk-in customers and through telephonic and email channels.
Stock Control and Ordering
You will assist with stock control processes, including monitoring stock levels, placing stock orders, and ensuring consistent availability of products to meet customer demand.
Customer Service Excellence
The role requires delivering a high standard of customer service, responding to customer enquiries professionally, and supporting positive client experiences within the branch.
Branch Support and Ad-Hoc Duties
You will perform additional job-related duties as required, supporting overall branch operations and contributing to a team-oriented working environment.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification

1–2 years’ experience in irrigation

Experience in an agricultural retail environment will be an advantage

Knowledge of irrigation systems and electrical equipment will be advantageous

Willingness to undergo continuous training
