Position Overview
CIPC invites applications for 1 Graduate Internship in Innovation and Collaboration, based in Sunnyside, Pretoria. The internship forms part of a 24-month Graduate Internship Programme, offering graduates exposure to software development, collaborative projects, and innovative technology solutions in the public sector.
This programme targets unemployed graduates who wish to enhance their technical, programming, and project collaboration skills while gaining valuable workplace experience in a government environment.
Key Responsibilities

Participate in software development and programming projects, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital initiatives and technology-driven projects.

Support the planning, design, and execution of technology solutions aligned with CIPC’s operational objectives.

Contribute to hackathons, innovation challenges, and collaborative problem-solving exercises.

Assist in documentation, testing, and quality assurance of developed solutions.

Report on project progress, milestones, and deliverables to supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:

Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.

Minimum aggregate of 75% or higher in your studies.

Must have participated in at least one hackathon.

Unemployed South African graduates aged 18–35 years.

No previous work experience required; applicants must not have participated in prior internship programmes.

Valid South African ID and academic transcripts.
