Position Overview
CIPC is inviting applications for 4 Graduate Internships in Finance, based at the Sunnyside Office in Pretoria. The programme runs for 24 months, providing graduates with practical experience in finance, accounting, and financial compliance.
This internship is aimed at unemployed South African graduates aged 18–35, who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and are seeking hands-on exposure to public sector finance operations.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.

Support budget planning, monitoring, and financial analysis.

Participate in accounting audits, compliance checks, and reporting processes.

Support the finance team in daily financial operations and administrative tasks.

Monitor and record financial transactions in accordance with CIPC policies and government financial regulations.

Contribute to improving financial procedures and internal controls.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

South African citizen aged 18–35 years.
-
No previous internship in the same programme.

Unemployed graduate seeking public service finance experience.
Desirable:

Basic knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.

Familiarity with financial reporting software or tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.
