  • Verify loads before departure and ensure all goods are correctly secured for transit
  • Complete the transport schedule accurately, recording all trips undertaken

👔 Transporting Officials & Visitors

  • Drive departmental officials and visitors professionally and punctually as requested
  • Interact with all officials, passengers, and stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain the highest standard of conduct, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
  • Project a positive image of the Department during all transport-related duties

🔍 Vehicle Inspection, Care & Maintenance

  • Ensure all assigned government vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and well maintained at all times
  • Identify and report any vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, or repair needs promptly
  • Report all accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to the supervisor immediately and accurately
  • Take full personal responsibility for the care and condition of all assigned departmental vehicles

Minimum Requirements – Driver

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 10 certificate or recognised equivalent qualification
