Position Overview
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is recruiting a General Assistant to support the facilities team at Teleperformance in Gqeberha. The successful candidate will help ensure that all buildings are safe, clean, and fully operational, contributing to the daily experience of both clients and staff.
This role is ideal for individuals with practical skills in maintenance, building support, and facilities operations, who are eager to work in a dynamic and service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with general repairs and maintenance of buildings and facilities.

Support the Handyman with planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tools and vehicles.
-
Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) and Tsebo’s SHEQ standards.

Deliver excellent customer service and resolve client queries promptly.
-
Keep accurate records and assist with job card preparation.
-
Follow Tsebo’s procedures while multitasking under pressure.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
Minimum Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
Experience:
-
2–5 years in a similar maintenance, facilities support, or general assistant role.
Skills and Competencies:
-
Basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical knowledge.

Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Strong time management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.

Emotional intelligence and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
