Position Overview

VKB Fuels in Reitz is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Fuel Attendant to provide safe, efficient and friendly service to customers at the fuel station. The role includes dispensing fuel, supporting customers with vehicle needs, processing payments, maintaining forecourt cleanliness, and ensuring strict adherence to all operational and safety procedures.

This position is ideal for candidates looking for entry-level employment, retail forecourt experience, and stable career growth within a leading agricultural group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense fuel accurately and safely according to customer instructions

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

  • Ensure customers receive the correct fuel type suitable for their vehicles

  • Assist with basic vehicle checks when required

  • Maintain a clean and safe forecourt environment

  • Handle both cash and card transactions with precision

  • Balance fuel sales at the end of every shift

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions

  • Adhere to all VKB Group safety and operational standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification

  • Basic numeracy skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Clean criminal record

  • High accuracy and attention to detail
