Position Overview
Premier Vereeniging Mill is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Driver to support warehouse operations by loading, transporting, and stacking materials, ensuring proper stock placement, and performing general warehouse duties. This role requires strict adherence to health and safety standards and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operations

Load and offload trucks safely and efficiently.

Transport and stack raw and packaging materials using FIFO principles.

Conduct pre-operation checks and report any faults or issues.

Ensure loads are secure and correctly positioned.

Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep the forklift clean at all times.
Warehouse & Stock Handling

Move palletised goods throughout the warehouse and designated storage areas.

Pick, pack, and store stock in correct locations.

Ensure replenishment stock is placed accurately and timeously.

Complete and verify documentation related to all work performed.

Assist with waste management and general housekeeping.
Compliance & Safety

Follow written operating instructions and maintain clear records.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Maintain neat and organised work areas in accordance with Premier FMCG standards.

Participate in a pressurised environment involving shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric.

Valid Forklift License.

1–2 years’ experience in a similar FMCG forklift driving role.
