Position Overview

AFGRI invites applications for a Forecourt Supervisor to manage daily forecourt operations and kiosk activities at our Lydenburg branch. The role involves stock management, team supervision, customer service, and compliance with operational standards. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in forecourt management, retail operations, and team leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels at the kiosk and forecourt daily.

  • Conduct regular stock-taking, cycle counting, and stock rotation.

  • Ensure proper placement of stock on shelves and bins.

  • Manage stock expiration registers, reporting on expiry and best-before dates.

  • Achieve sales targets in line with marketing plans and budgets.

  • Monitor budget vs actual expenses and report variances.

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client queries or complaints efficiently.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relations with internal and external clients.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements as per company policy and legislation.

  • Manage employee performance, identify training needs, and implement fair disciplinary actions when required.


Minimum Requirements

Essential:

  • Grade 12 certificate.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant forecourt experience.

  • Management or team lead experience is an advantage.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of POS systems and ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
