Position Overview
The Food Services Aid is responsible for assisting in food preparation, meal service, and kitchen hygiene. This role is ideal for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about food services in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities

Operate kitchen appliances and equipment safely.

Prepare meals and snacks according to ration scales and daily menus.

Assist with dishing up and serving meals.

Support food preparation during field exercises.

Clean trays in wards and lay out bed tables for clients.

Ensure correct portion sizes and special diets are adhered to.

Serve tea or coffee and collect dishes after meals.

Return trolleys to the kitchen and wash client water bottles, supplying fresh water daily.

Mop kitchen floors after each meal and clean cupboards and walls.
Minimum Requirements

ABET qualification (Level 4 minimum).

No previous experience required.

Effective verbal communication skills in English.

Basic knowledge of health, safety, and food preparation.

Ability to work shifts and maintain punctuality.
