Position Overview
The Food Service Aid assists in the preparation, serving, and maintenance of food services within the Regiment. This role ensures hygiene, safety, and efficiency in meal preparation and supports field exercises and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks according to ration scales and menus.

Dish up food per meal and assist in serving personnel.

Receive and store food rations accurately.

Support food preparation and related responsibilities during field exercises.

Apply hygiene and safety measures in the kitchen and work environment.

Remove and dispose of kitchen waste in a safe and hygienic manner.

Follow instructions from supervisors and support efficient food service operations.
Minimum Requirements

ABET qualification or equivalent.
-
No prior experience required.

Planning and organisational skills.

Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Operating skills for kitchen equipment and basic maintenance.

Understanding of health and safety regulations to prevent contamination.

Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
