Position Overview
Motus Autoworx is seeking a skilled and reliable Flatter to join their East London team. The role is responsible for flattening vehicles after repairs, ensuring surfaces are smooth, properly prepared, and ready for paint application. The Flatter plays a critical part in producing a high-quality final product and maintaining the company’s service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect all vehicles received from the panel-beating bay.

Check all body parts to ensure smooth, even surfaces.

Apply primer on small repair areas where required.

Ensure flatting is performed accurately and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Assist with additional tasks reasonably required from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
Technical qualification (Colour Matching / BA Journeyman)

Minimum of 2+ years relevant flatting experience

Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence (minimum two years old)

Strong command of English (verbal and written)
