About the Role: Finance Clerk Supervisor โ Revenue Control
The Finance Clerk Supervisor: Revenue Control plays a key role in the accurate management and oversight of government revenue. This position ensures that all state money is correctly verified, processed, and recorded in compliance with public sector regulations. The successful candidate will manage revenue control processes, supervise staff, and contribute to efficient financial operations at the Head Office in Cedara.
Key Responsibilities

Verify receipts and deposits of state money to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Review and reconcile all revenue registers and suspense accounts.
-
Render petty cash services for departmental needs.

Perform essential administrative and related financial functions.

Supervise and manage human resources within the revenue control team.

Ensure adherence to the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Batho Pele Principles, and other relevant legislation.

Support process improvements and maintain accurate financial records.
Minimum Requirements
-
Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate (Matric).
-
Valid driverโs license.
-
At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance or revenue control.

Strong knowledge of:

Public Service Act & Regulations

Basic Accounting System (BAS)

PFMA & Treasury Regulations

Batho Pele Principles

Basic Conditions of Employment Act and departmental policies.
