Position Overview

The Electronic Security Systems Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex electronic security projects. This includes planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and final client handover. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting

  • Manage all project phases from initiation to closing

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams

  • Provide regular project updates and manage client expectations

  • Foster strong long-term relationships with all stakeholders

Budget & Financial Oversight

  • Track project costs and manage budgets

  • Approve change orders and monitor financial performance

  • Ensure project profitability and oversee billing and invoicing

Technical Guidance

  • Oversee system design and troubleshoot technical issues for CCTV, access control, and alarm systems

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy

  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications

Team Leadership & On-Site Supervision

  • Supervise internal teams and external subcontractors

  • Prioritize workloads and foster a collaborative, results-driven work environment

  • Enforce quality control and safety standards on-site

Risk Management & Documentation

  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including as-built drawings and schematics

  • Conduct final commissioning, client training, and handover to service teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

  • 3–5 years’ proven project management experience, specifically in electronic security systems

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading technical teams

  • Expertise in integrated security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems)

  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, TCP/IP protocols, IP cameras, and network devices

  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and MS Office tools

Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Prince 2

  • PMBOK
