Impact HR is seeking a skilled and dependable Driver + Forklift Driver to join a dynamic consumer goods operation based in Midrand, Gauteng. This is a contract position suited to an experienced individual who is confident both behind the wheel and operating a forklift in a fast-paced operational environment.
The role is essential in ensuring the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of goods, supporting smooth warehouse and logistics operations while maintaining high safety and accuracy standards.
About the Role
The Driver + Forklift Driver is responsible for transporting goods to and from designated locations while also operating a forklift to load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
This role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The successful candidate must demonstrate a clear understanding of safety regulations, equipment handling, and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Driving and Transportation Duties
The successful candidate will safely transport goods and materials between designated locations in accordance with delivery schedules and company driving regulations. Timely and accurate deliveries are essential to maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Forklift Operations
The role includes operating a forklift to load and unload items from delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production lines. All forklift operations must comply strictly with safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Vehicle and Equipment Inspection
The Driver + Forklift Driver will be responsible for conducting pre-use and post-use inspections of vehicles and forklift equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition. Any faults or maintenance issues must be reported promptly.
Record Keeping and Administration
The role requires maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections, and equipment maintenance. Clear documentation supports accountability, compliance, and operational tracking.
Communication and Team Coordination

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Proven experience as a Driver and Forklift Operator
