Warehouse Dispatch and Inventory Coordination Role

Voltex (Pty) Ltd is recruiting a Dispatch Clerk for its Bramley branch. This full-time role reports to the Branch Manager and focuses on ensuring efficient receiving and dispatch processes while maintaining accurate inventory control and resolving discrepancies promptly.

The Dispatch Clerk plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by verifying incoming stock, maintaining accurate records, and preparing products for inventory storage. About the Role

The primary purpose of the Dispatch Clerk role is to ensure receiving processes are followed accurately and efficiently, while supporting inventory management and operational workflow. The role involves unloading stock, verifying quantities, and ensuring accurate documentation of received goods.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining stock accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and organising products for inventory. Strong administrative capability and attention to detail are essential to ensure reliable record-keeping and smooth warehouse operations.

Receiving and Stock Verification Responsibilities

The Dispatch Clerk must unload and unpack incoming stock in accordance with established procedures.

Any shortages, damages, or discrepancies must be reported promptly to the appropriate person for corrective action.

Matching stock to associated purchase orders is essential to maintain accurate inventory records.

Matric certificate is required.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a store or warehouse environment is advantageous.

Knowledge of safety standards and protective clothing practices is expected.
