Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of a Despatch Clerk for the Bramley branch. This incumbent will be reporting to the Branch Manager.

The purpose of this role is to ensure adherence to and efficient receiving processes are followed, and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Unload and unpack the stock of products
  • Inspect stock for damage and correct quantities
  • Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person
  • Match stock to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork
  • Prepare and organise received stock for inventory
  • Return damaged products to customers
  • Monitor inventory levels

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • A valid matric certificate is a MUST
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a store/warehouse environment is an ADVANTAGE
  • Knowledge of computer software packages and MS Office
  • Knowledge of the K8 system is an ADVANTAGE
  • Good product knowledge
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and protective clothing
