Position Overview

The Depot Manager – Mahwelereng will oversee the daily operations of the NTK Retail Depot. This leadership role involves managing stock, operational processes, team development, and client service while ensuring compliance with company policies and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for day-to-day depot management.

  • Drive operational excellence and manage stock within VKB standards.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team to achieve performance goals.

  • Deliver exceptional client service and professionally handle queries and complaints.

  • Apply company policies and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

  • Strategically plan and implement initiatives to exceed business targets.

  • Serve as a bridge between VKB’s strategic vision and depot-level execution.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in a retail leadership or depot management role

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office – intermediate to advanced)

  • Proven track record in achieving results and driving operational improvement

  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills

  • Ability to resolve conflicts and make independent decisions

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on business growth
