The Data Capturer works closely with internal teams to identify discrepancies, resolve documentation issues, and ensure that all records meet required standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Data Capturing and Document Verification

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying that all FICA documentation is accurate, complete, and contains all required information before processing. This includes carefully checking documents for correctness and completeness to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Any discrepancies identified must be communicated daily to relevant internal stakeholders to allow for prompt resolution and corrective action.

Document Scanning, Uploading, and Filing

The role includes scanning all FICA documents and uploading them to the company’s system. Each document must be clear, legible, correctly named, and uploaded to the correct location to ensure easy access and traceability.

After scanning and uploading, all documents must be filed properly according to internal filing procedures. Maintaining an organised and structured filing system is critical to ensure document security and efficient retrieval.

System Accuracy and Data Integrity

The Data Capturer is responsible for ensuring that all captured data is accurate and up to date. This includes maintaining consistency between physical documents and electronic records, correcting errors where identified, and ensuring that data is captured within required time frames.

The role requires strict adherence to confidentiality protocols, as sensitive personal and business information is handled daily.

Administrative Support and Compliance

The position supports administrative compliance by ensuring that documentation aligns with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Data Capturer may be required to assist with audits, internal reviews, and information requests by ensuring that records are complete and readily available.

A willingness to work overtime, including weekends when required, is important to ensure that deadlines are met during peak operational periods.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
