Position Overview
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in proactively identifying, evaluating and reducing the attack surface of our organisation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Security Operations, you will lead initiatives across asset discovery, threat correlation, vulnerability management and strategic remediation efforts to protect internal and external environments.
Key Responsibilities
Attack Surface Discovery & Asset Management

Continuously identify and catalogue external and internal digital assets (cloud, on-premises, IoT, third-party systems)

Use manual and automated techniques for comprehensive asset coverage
Vulnerability & Threat Intelligence

Evaluate discovered assets for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, prioritising remediation efforts

Correlate attack surface data with threat intelligence to anticipate emerging risks
Exposure Reduction & Incident Support

Partner with IT, DevOps and application teams to streamline digital footprint and minimise unnecessary exposure

Provide asset and exposure data to support incident response and containment
Reporting, Tool Management & Strategy Development

Develop dashboards and reports for technical and executive audiences, including trend analysis and KPIs

Deploy and manage Attack Surface Management (ASM) platforms and related technologies

Contribute to security policy standards and best practices

Deliver awareness training to stakeholders on exposure management
Minimum Requirements
-
3+ years in cyber security with focus on attack surface management, asset discovery or vulnerability management

Strong knowledge of networking, web technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security tooling (ASM, EDR, SIEM)

Analytical skills and ability to correlate technical findings with business risk

Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and business stakeholders

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and asset/discovery automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, CompTIA Security+

Background in incident response, digital forensics or US-based property management (where relevant)

Experience working in large enterprise environments
