About the Role
The Counter Sales role is responsible for direct customer interaction at branch level, providing product advice, generating sales, and supporting stock control and general branch procedures. The position requires strong product interest, a proactive sales mindset, and the ability to represent the brand professionally at all times.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to candidates with exposure to automotive, engineering, tools and machinery, or hardware retail, and who are eager to grow within a fast-expanding retail business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation and Customer Service
The successful candidate will actively generate sales to support branch growth targets while delivering customer care in line with company standards. Providing professional advice and building strong customer relationships are central to this role.
Stock Control and Branch Operations
Responsibilities include maintaining proper stock level control, supporting general branch procedures, and ensuring housekeeping standards are consistently upheld across the branch.
Product Knowledge and Development
The role requires continuous development of product knowledge related to tools, spares, and machinery. Ongoing self-development and learning are encouraged to ensure accurate advice and effective sales support.
Administrative and Supervisory Support
The Counter Sales role includes handling basic administrative and managerial duties, following branch instructions and procedures, and supporting sales leadership through exemplary conduct. Staff supervisory exposure, where applicable, will be beneficial.
Brand Representation and Leadership by Example
