The Code 10 Driver is responsible for the secure and efficient transport of goods and materials across the Johannesburg region. Beyond driving, this role requires a professional who can manage the logistics of loading and unloading, perform critical vehicle safety checks, and act as a brand ambassador for the company on the road. Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Operation & Logistics

Safe Transport: Operate a Code 10 vehicle (Heavy Motor Vehicle) to transport diverse goods and materials, ensuring 100% adherence to the National Road Traffic Act.

Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and physical maps to determine the most efficient routes, avoiding congestion to ensure all deliveries are made within the agreed-upon timeframes.

Loading & Unloading: Oversee and participate in the manual loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform daily routine inspections of the vehicle, checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights before departure.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior, reflecting the professional standards of the logistics department.
