Position Overview

The Cleaner is responsible for performing routine and general cleaning duties in allocated areas to maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized environment.

These positions are ideal for candidates who are disciplined, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain offices, kitchens, bathrooms, conference rooms, and other facilities.

  • Dust, sweep, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors, furniture, walls, windows, and carpets.

  • Empty dustbins and dispose of waste appropriately.

  • Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

  • Maintain registers for cleaning materials distributed and used.

  • Apply Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) measures.

  • Report defects or maintenance issues to supervisors.

  • Ensure general hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • ABET qualification (minimum).

Experience & Skills:

  • No prior experience required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal).

  • Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and procedures.

  • Ability to operate cleaning machines and basic hand tools.

  • Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks independently or in a team.

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
