This role requires staff to work within a clinical healthcare environment where strict hygiene and infection control procedures must be followed at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 10 or ABET Level 4 or equivalent qualification is required.
Candidates must be physically fit and able to move heavy objects where required.
Relevant experience as a cleaner within healthcare, commercial, or institutional environments will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Housekeeping and Hygiene Maintenance
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout hospital facilities.
Ensure all areas are cleaned according to healthcare hygiene regulations and infection control standards.
Assist in maintaining a safe and presentable patient environment.
Infection Control Compliance
Implement infection control policies and follow hospital sanitation protocols.
Ensure that cleaning practices reduce contamination risks within clinical and public areas.
Follow established hospital safety and health procedures.
Equipment and Consumable Management
Ensure effective and cost-efficient use of cleaning materials and consumables.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment.
