Position Overview

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across offices, corridors, restrooms, boardrooms, and general facilities. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean offices, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.

  • Dust and polish office furniture.

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors.

  • Vacuum and shampoo carpets and floors.

  • Clean walls, windows, doors, and glass surfaces.

  • Empty, clean, and disinfect bins.

  • Collect and remove waste papers and refuse.

  • Freshen office areas and common spaces.

  • Clean general kitchen areas; wash basins and utensils.

  • Clean and maintain restrooms; refill liquid soap, toilet paper, hand towels, and air fresheners.

  • Maintain cleaning materials, equipment, and tools.

  • Report broken cleaning machines and faulty equipment.

  • Clean appliances (microwaves, vacuum cleaners, etc.) after use.

  • Request and collect cleaning supplies from stores.


Minimum Requirements

  • ABET qualification (minimum level).

  • No experience required; suitable for entry-level applicants.

  • Ability to stand and work for long hours.

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

  • Basic knowledge of health and safety.

  • Willingness to work shift hours as required.

  • Good communication, organizational, and basic writing skills.
