Position Overview
The Cleaner will perform essential cleaning duties across Airlink’s facilities, offices, and aircraft, ensuring compliance with strict hygiene and safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of aircraft interiors, hangars, and administrative areas in line with approved maintenance and cleaning procedures.
This role is ideal for a meticulous, safety-conscious individual with experience in aviation or industrial cleaning who takes pride in maintaining a spotless and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Carry out comprehensive cleaning functions within Airlink’s facilities and aircraft cabins.
 - 
Ensure adherence to approved aircraft cleaning procedures and maintenance protocols.
 - 
Safely handle and store cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
 - 
Conduct pre- and post-flight cleaning of aircraft interiors, including seats, windows, lavatories, and galley areas.
 - 
Maintain cleanliness in offices, workshops, restrooms, and crew lounges.
 - 
Report any safety hazards, damage, or maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.
 - 
Comply with all health, safety, and aviation security regulations.
 - 
Assist with waste segregation, recycling, and environmental hygiene initiatives.
 - 
Work closely with ground staff and maintenance personnel to ensure turnaround efficiency.
 
Minimum Requirements
- 
Grade 12 certificate or N4 equivalent qualification.
 - 
Previous cleaning experience within the aviation, industrial, or facilities environment.
 - 
Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures.
 - 
Safety hazard awareness training (advantageous).
 - 
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
 - 
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
 - 
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
