Position Overview

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and orderliness across hospital offices, corridors, restrooms, kitchens, and other facilities. This is an entry-level role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean offices, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms; dust and wax office furniture.

  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and vacuum floors; shampoo carpets.

  • Clean walls, windows, and doors.

  • Empty and clean dirt bins; collect and remove waste papers.

  • Freshen office areas and maintain general cleanliness.

  • Clean general kitchen areas, basins, and utensils; maintain stock.

  • Clean restrooms, refill liquid soap, replace toilet paper, hand towels, and air fresheners.

  • Empty and wash waste bins.

  • Maintain and report on cleaning materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Clean machines (microwaves, vacuum cleaners, etc.) after use.

  • Place demands for cleaning materials and collect from stores.

  • Clear and clean tables.


Minimum Requirements

  • ABET qualification (Level 4 minimum).

  • No prior experience required; entry-level role.

  • Ability to stand for long hours and work independently.

  • Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.

  • Willingness to work shift hours as required.

  • Organizational, communication, and basic writing skills.
