Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 in Public Management, Administration, Operations, Business Management, Management, Administration, Law, or Social Science recognised by SAQA.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Public Service Regulatory Framework and Civic Services Regulatory Frameworks.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, fraud prevention, Constitution, and departmental regulations and prescripts.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Front Office Operations
- Attend to client enquiries and perform online verification.
- Greet clients professionally and provide orientation on available services.
- Check applicant status (fingerprint, marital status) and conduct online verification.
- Issue tickets and direct clients to relevant departments.
- Ensure waiting areas are maintained according to service standards.
Civic Services Delivery
- Operate live capture photo booths, verify and capture client information, administer fingerprints, and scan supporting documents.
- Receive, scan, and file ID smart cards.
- Process applications for identity documents, registration of births, marriages, deaths, late registrations, rectifications, amendments, and citizenship documents.
Policy and Procedure Compliance
- Implement departmental policies and procedures according to the approval framework.
- Monitor individual resources and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery aligned with departmental values and vision.
Work Environment
Positions are based across multiple provinces:
