Position Overview

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a responsible and highly skilled CIT (Cash-in-Transit) Driver for the Saldanha branch.

The CIT Driver will transport Crewmen and Custodians, collect and deliver clients’ cash safely, and ensure accurate proof of collection and delivery. This role is critical in maintaining security protocols, incident prevention, and client satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level to mid-career professionals in the security and cash logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash Collection & Delivery

  • Collect and deliver clients’ cash securely and efficiently.

  • Ensure proof of delivery and collection is accurately recorded.

  • Conduct vehicle audits and complete checklists.

2. Safety & Security

  • Maintain radio contact with controllers and follow CIT safety protocols.

  • Take preventive action towards suspicious activity and report incidents immediately.

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and report accidents or incidents.

3. Operations & Reporting

  • Report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately.

  • Complete necessary documentation and maintain operational compliance.

  • Support overall branch operations and assist Crewmen and Custodians as needed.

4. Customer Service & Relations

  • Provide professional and courteous service to clients.

  • Uphold quality assurance and client satisfaction standards.

  • Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues and clients.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.

  • PSIRA accredited with minimum Grade C qualification.

  • Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Certificate.

  • Firearm competency – minimum handgun (business purpose) qualification.

  • Valid driver’s license (Code C1 minimum) with a valid PDP.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry or similar role (advantageous at FSG).

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism in high-risk situations.

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

  • Good verbal and language communication skills.

  • Assertive and able to make decisions independently.

  • Physically fit and able to work extended hours or overtime as required.
