Technical Services Management
- Manage technical services and support in conjunction with Engineers, Technologists, Technicians, and associates — across field, workshop, and technical office activities

- Provide support to WSAs on implementation of planning and implementation frameworks and methodologies

Project Identification & Financial Management
- Identify, prioritise, and initiate projects through associated financial management — structuring budgets for planning and implementation
- Coordinate planning to ensure integrated management of water and sanitation projects across all spheres of government — Water Boards, WSAs, and other WSPs
Information Management
- Ensure all data, information, reports, and analysis results are packaged and made accessible via the Water Services Knowledge System and National Integrated Water Information System

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate water and sanitation services delivery projects
