Position Overview
Brights Hardware Brackengate is seeking 2 Cashiers for the Frontline Department. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure an efficient and accurate checkout process, provide excellent customer service, and support the overall growth and success of the store.
Key Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally as they enter the store

Follow the cash-up procedure accurately and efficiently
-
Process EFT and cash payments, ensuring accurate transactions
-
Ring up all sales correctly on registers
-
Pack purchases carefully and hand over cash drops to the superior for security
-
Perform daily cash-ups and reconcile registers
-
Monitor and report suspicious customer activity
-
Stay informed on all promotions and gift card procedures
-
Issue gift cards, check and cash in reward points

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area

Participate in perpetual stock takes and assist with inventory

Perform any work-related tasks as delegated by supervisors
Minimum Requirements

Matric or equivalent qualification
-
Minimum 1-year experience in a cashier or similar retail role
