Position Overview
In this role as a Career Services Advisor, you will support bootcamp students through their journey from learning to placement in the cyber security field. You will deliver coaching, manage caseloads, engage employers, and help shape career outcomes. This is a high-impact, relationship-oriented role for professionals passionate about transforming lives through education and talent development.
Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement & Program Management

Administer career services programmes for assigned IT bootcamp cohorts

Conduct virtual 1-on-1 coaching sessions covering goal setting, resume review, interview preparation, LinkedIn profile development, and career path mapping

Deliver cohort-based educational and Q&A sessions

Onboard students onto career tools including Prentus, Enhancv, Pepelwerk, and Stellarworx

Review jobseeker profiles for readiness and visibility on the talent portal

Maintain ongoing relationships with alumni, encouraging engagement and mentor participation

Track outcomes and satisfaction data, and execute follow-up meetings with alumni and employer partners
Partner & Employer Outreach

Build and maintain communication with employer partners committed to hiring bootcamp graduates

Promote assigned students to employer networks and maintain engagement databases

Develop and sustain a pipeline of employer contacts and track outcomes for continued improvement
Team Collaboration

Participate in team meetings and provide updates on career service initiatives

Maintain detailed notes and documentation on student interactions, employer engagement and programme outcomes
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources or related field

Strong proficiency with LinkedIn and virtual presentation tools

Minimum 2 years of experience in coaching (career, life, business) or counselling

At least 1 year of remote customer-facing experience in a relationship-based role

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
