Position Overview
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is seeking a proactive and experienced Building Manager to oversee maintenance operations and infrastructure management across designated hotel properties in the Rustenburg complex.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction, while leading teams and contractors in line with Tsebo’s excellence-driven ethos.

Key Responsibilities
1. Preventative Maintenance

Develop and implement 12-month preventative maintenance plans.

Identify and drive energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
2. Infrastructure Management
-
Coordinate maintenance teams and external contractors.

Supervise building repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades.

Ensure all infrastructure work complies with quality and safety standards.
3. Project Management
-
Scope, plan, and manage building and infrastructure projects.

Monitor resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
4. Compliance and Governance
-
Develop, implement, and audit maintenance policies and procedures.

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
5. People and Team Management
-
Lead and develop a high-performing technical team.
-
Drive engagement, training, and succession planning initiatives.
6. Financial and Budget Oversight
-
Assist in budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting.

Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational savings.
7. Stakeholder Engagement
-
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.

Communicate effectively on maintenance plans, performance, and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
4-Year Degree or National Diploma in Building Management (preferred).
-
Apprenticeship in Engineering with 5 years of hands-on experience.
-
SAFMA or equivalent professional registration is advantageous.
Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities or infrastructure management.

Proven record in project management and contractor supervision.
-
Strong understanding of infrastructure maintenance standards and legislation.
Skills and Competencies:

Project and technical management expertise.

Knowledge of building repair and maintenance methods.

Proficiency in MS Office, IFS, and Pragma software.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong attention to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
