Position Overview

The Customer Service Agent plays a key role in ensuring positive rental experiences, supporting operational efficiency and delivering professional service. This role is essential in helping the branch achieve targets through courteous customer interaction, accurate administration and adherence to company standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer check-out and check-in rental processes aligned with company and quality-control procedures

  • Make, amend, cancel and monitor customer reservations

  • Assist customers with queries while maintaining high standards of service

  • Perform administrative tasks: scanning, capturing data, fleet movement control, rental deposits and documentation

  • Perform follow-ups on overdue rentals, partial billing and claims-related duties

  • Maintain security and quality checks of vehicles and company assets

  • Identify expired vehicle licenses, service requirements and issues impacting quality standards

  • Maintain clean and professional branch environment (good housekeeping)

  • Perform additional operational support tasks as required


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service or front-office operations

  • Valid Code 8 driver’s licence with at least 1 year driving experience

  • Computer literate

  • Willing to work overtime, shifts and weekends
