Position 1: Administrative Clerk – Asset Forfeiture Unit

About the Role

The Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) is part of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and focuses on managing seized assets and supporting legal enforcement. The Administrative Clerk will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to staff in human resources, finance, procurement, and logistics.
  • Maintain a well-organized administrative system for the office.
  • Execute a wide variety of administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with document management and task time management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent

About the Role

The National Prosecutions Service (NPS) supports prosecutors and ensures effective case management. The Administrative Clerk will manage case registers, documents, and reports to facilitate legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register incoming dockets and scan documents.
  • Capture and update information on the Electronic Case Register (ECR).
  • Provide electronic documents to Defence as requested by Prosecutors.
  • Liaise with Prosecutors regarding case matters.
  • Generate reports using ECR, Access, Power BI, and PowerPoint for statistical and operational purposes.
  • Maintain files and manage case documentation.
  • Update the E-disclosure platform and manage Prosecutor caseloads.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent
