Position Overview

SSK is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Administrative Assistant to join the Mechanization Workshop in Heidelberg, Western Cape. This role is central to maintaining efficient administrative flow, accurate documentation, and smooth internal operations within a fast-paced agricultural workshop environment.

The ideal candidate is organised, detail-driven, bilingual, and comfortable working with various administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Administration

  • Accurate handling, capturing, and processing of job cards
  • Daily management and processing of workshop clock cards
  • Handling invoices, receipts, documentation, and filing
  • Timely and accurate capture of cash sales
  • Supporting workflow processes and documentation control

Operations Support

  • Providing general administrative support to the workshop team
  • Ensuring smooth flow of operational information
  • Upholding organisational standards and deadlines

Customer & Internal Service

  • Communicating professionally with internal staff and clients
  • Upholding SSK values, customer service standards, and operational excellence

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP experience will be an advantage
  • Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, reliability, and strong work ethic
