Unitrans is offering a permanent Administration Officer I opportunity within the Consumer Division (RCL Milling) based in Pretoria, Gauteng. This role is ideal for a professional, detail-oriented administrative candidate with strong numerical ability and a passion for accuracy, organisation, and operational support within an admin and finance environment.

The position supports administrative, financial, and contract management functions, with a strong focus on data capturing, document control, revenue calculations, and system administration.


About the Role

The Administration Officer I plays a key role in supporting the admin and finance department by ensuring accurate data processing, document management, and financial administration. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong Excel capability, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

This position involves close collaboration with Contract Managers, finance teams, and operational staff to ensure that records, revenue schedules, and invoicing documentation are complete, correct, and compliant with internal standards.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue and Contract Administration Support

The successful candidate will assist with calculating contract revenue in support of the Contract Manager. This includes generating revenue schedules, preparing supporting documentation, and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of customer invoicing information.


Master Data and System Maintenance

A core responsibility of the role is maintaining and updating Uniplan master data, including vehicle master data, customer master data, and rate information. Accuracy and consistency of system data are essential to support financial and operational reporting.


Data Capturing and Document Control

The role includes capturing data accurately, scanning and uploading documents onto internal systems, and ensuring that records are properly stored and accessible. Filing and archiving of documents must be completed in line with company policies and procedures.


Operational and Finance Administration Support

The Administration Officer I will provide general administrative support to the finance, administration, and contract management teams. This includes engaging with debrief staff regarding missing kilometres or trips, resolving documentation gaps, and supporting day-to-day office administration requirements.


General Office Administration

Additional responsibilities include assisting with general office duties, maintaining organised records, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently across departments.


Minimum Requirements

Candidates applying for this position must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Diploma or Advanced Certificate

  • Post-matric qualification in Finance or Logistics / Transport (advantageous)

  • 2–4 years’ experience in an administrative role (advantageous)

  • Computer literacy with MS Office, including advanced Excel skills


Experience and Professional Background

This role is well suited to candidates with prior experience in administrative or finance support roles, particularly in environments requiring strong numerical accuracy, document management, and system-based administration. Exposure to logistics, transport, or contract-based operations will be beneficial.
