Grain Administration and Stock Reconciliation Leadership Role
Afgri Grain Management is seeking to appoint an experienced Administration Manager to be based in Centurion, Gauteng. This permanent position offers an opportunity to lead and manage critical administrative processes within a structured agricultural environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and reconciling the receipt and dispatch of stock, managing debtors, and ensuring that the Minibem system remains accurate and up to date. This role is central to maintaining financial accuracy, stock control integrity, and efficient customer service within AFGRI’s grain operations.

About the Role
The Administration Manager plays a key role in ensuring that grain stock movements are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported. The position requires consistent oversight of stock receipt and dispatch processes while maintaining accurate system records.
In addition to stock reconciliation, the role involves managing debtor accounts and supporting the administration of the Minibem system. Accuracy, accountability, and the ability to manage high volumes of data are essential for success in this position.
The role demands a strong understanding of process flows within an organisation and the ability to maintain effective internal controls.
Stock Administration and Reconciliation
A primary responsibility of the Administration Manager is overseeing the administration and reconciliation of stock receipts and dispatches. Ensuring that stock transfers are correctly processed and documented supports operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
The role includes handling silo certificates and managing returns and surveys where applicable. Accurate reconciliation of accounts is essential to prevent discrepancies and maintain transparent reporting.
Maintaining precise records contributes to effective management information reporting and supports strategic decision-making within the grain management division.
Debtors Management and Financial Oversight
The Administration Manager will oversee the management of debtor accounts, ensuring that outstanding balances are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
Strong financial acumen is required to manage reconciliations effectively and ensure that all financial records align with operational transactions. Experience working with ERP systems, as well as knowledge of SAP (advantageous), supports accurate financial reporting and control.
Maintaining disciplined financial processes protects the organisation’s revenue streams and strengthens operational integrity.
System Administration – Minibem and eAccounts
An important component of the role involves administering and maintaining the Minibem system, ensuring that all data is updated accurately and consistently.
Working with systems such as Minibem and eAccounts requires strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of grain management systems will be advantageous.
The ability to understand and manage organisational process flows ensures that system inputs align with operational activities.
Customer Service and Operational Support
Customer service remains a key performance area within this role. The Administration Manager must ensure that administrative processes support efficient customer interactions and timely service delivery.
Clear communication, accuracy, and responsiveness are essential in maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Administration Manager position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12.
Diploma or certificate in Business Administration.
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in an administrative environment.
Knowledge of grain management systems and Minibem (advantageous).
Excellent computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Excel).
Experience working with ERP systems.
Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.
Understanding of organisational process flows.
Strong financial acumen.
Good verbal communication and numerical skills.
