Position Overview
The Administration Clerk: Production will be responsible for providing administrative and production support in the Media and Repro Centre of the Infantry School. The successful candidates will handle printing, document management, and reproduction processes while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to SANDF safety regulations.
This role requires attention to detail, organization, and reliability, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Key Responsibilities
Document & Reproduction Management
-
Receive and register job cards from clients.
-
Ensure completeness of tasks and proper distribution to relevant personnel.

Place completed work in sorters or folding machines.
-
Assist with carting, binding, and laminating of completed work.
-
Maintain and safeguard all equipment, ensuring proper use and storage.
Office & Equipment Maintenance
-
Ensure working environments are well-ventilated and machines are turned off after use.

Maintain and clean photocopy machines and reproduction equipment.
-
Report any damage or loss immediately to the Media Centre Coordinator.
Compliance & Safety
-
Adhere to SANDF safety regulations related to machinery and equipment.

Maintain confidentiality of classified documents handled during reproduction.

Ensure accurate and neat reproduction processes.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
-
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
Experience & Skills:
-
Effective verbal and written communication in English.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Reasoning, problem-solving ability, and initiative.

Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative and production tasks.
