Position Overview
The Administration Clerk: Production is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Unit. This role ensures efficient documentation, accurate record keeping, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the regiment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform general clerical duties and update registers and statistics.

Handle routine enquiries and maintain filing systems.
-
Photocopy, receive, and send facsimiles as required.
-
Distribute documents and pending files to internal and external stakeholders daily.

Deliver and collect documents within and around the Unit.
-
Type letters, reports, and other correspondence when required.
-
Maintain incoming and outgoing document registers.
-
Keep and maintain the assets register.
-
File and archive documents, and retrieve archived files when requested.
-
Coordinate and follow up on outstanding files.
-
Safekeep unit stamps and audit files.
-
Conduct monthly equipment control to maintain effective logistical support.

Update inventory lists and maintain accurate record keeping.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
-
No previous experience required.

Knowledge of clerical duties and data capturing.
-
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
-
Strong organisation and coordinating skills.

Computer literate (MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Professional telephone etiquette.
-
Creative, innovative, and able to interact effectively at all levels.
