Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. Cost Accounting & Production Analysis

Costing Models: Develop, maintain, and update complex costing models to support manufacturing efficiency.

Yield Analysis: Perform detailed yield and production costing to evaluate operational performance and variance.

Price Calculation: Maintain and update the weekly price calculator to ensure accurate market positioning.

Inventory Management: Perform stock evaluations at month-end, assist with physical stock counts, and manage inventory item setups on Business Central.
2. Financial Reporting & Management

Management Statements: Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance reports for executive review.

Budgeting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of pricing structures for different departments.

Tax & Compliance: Ensure all processing complies with IFRS and SARS standards; calculate and submit tax requirements via SARS eFiling.

Asset Register: Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation and valuation records.
3. Operational Control & Auditing

General Ledger: Maintain and correct allocations in the general ledger and prepare monthly reconciliations.

Cash Flow: Monitor and manage daily cash flow needs and prepare/approve journals and EFTs.

Auditing: Provide comprehensive support to both internal and external auditors during annual reviews.

System Support: Provide technical support to departments regarding system-related queries within the ERP environment.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
To be considered for this professional accounting role at Multi Green, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: A relevant BCom degree with Accountancy.

Professional Status: Completed Articles (SAIPA or SAICA) is mandatory.

Software Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in ERP systems (specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) is highly advantageous.
