Position Overview
Administration Clerks provide essential administrative support across various departmental functions including Legal Services, Private Employment Services, and Management Support Services. They ensure that information, correspondence, and departmental procedures are accurately processed to facilitate smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Services: Compensation Fund β East London
-
Manage correspondence and documentation.
-
Liaise with provinces and Labour Centres for required data.
-
Render effective administrative support in line with COIDA, PFMA, Labour Law, Road Accident Fund Act, and other relevant legislation.

Collect statistics and maintain records accurately.
Private Employment Services β Butterworth
-
Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate placement and cross-border labour migration functions.
-
Support registration and certification of Private Employment Agencies.
-
Coordinate provincial opportunities from key stakeholders.
-
Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with departmental policies.
Management Support Services β Kariega
-
Render Supply Chain Management, Finance, HR, and office management services.

Support training and performance activities.
-
Maintain proper records management.
-
Ensure compliance with Batho Pele Principles, Treasury Regulations, and departmental policies.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
-
Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate.
-
No prior experience required.
Knowledge & Skills:
-
Knowledge of Labour Law, Compensation Fund processes, Batho Pele Principles, PFMA, departmental policies, and relevant ILO conventions.
-
Skills: Computer literacy, interpersonal relations, communication (verbal and written), planning and organizing, analytical thinking, report writing, problem-solving, presentation, and innovative thinking.
