Position Overview

Tsebo is seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our Fedics team in Rondebosch. The successful candidate will craft high-quality coffee and beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to a welcoming and vibrant café environment.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality setting and thrives on creating memorable customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee and specialty beverages with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest has a positive experience.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets.

  • Operate and maintain coffee equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Uphold Tsebo’s quality and health standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric).

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in a barista or similar hospitality role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic, read, write, and follow instructions accurately.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Physical stamina to work 45–50 hours per week.

  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment maintenance, and hygiene standards.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
