Position Overview
Voltex is seeking a results-driven Internal Sales Representative for its Atlas Wholesale branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent will play a critical role in achieving customer requisition and revenue growth objectives through internal sales. This position also requires assisting at the tills and performing cash sales when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical sales, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage stock, process orders, and liaise effectively with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Customer Service

Sell the company’s products to walk-in customers over the counter.

Handle and process orders telephonically and via CRM systems.

Provide accurate quotes, create invoices, and manage COD invoices and outstanding payments.

Ensure all relevant information is obtained from customers for accurate order processing, including order numbers, delivery addresses, contacts, and special arrangements.

Assist in resolving customer queries promptly and professionally.
2. Stock and Dispatch Management

Manage and control all stock movement in conjunction with the Procurement Manager.

Liaise with dispatch to ensure deliveries are made on time and meet customer expectations.

Ensure that no stock leaves the company without proper documentation.

Assist with stock taking and inventory control as required.
3. Administration and Reporting

Create invoices and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Take initiative while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings and provide updates on sales performance.
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric / Grade 12 qualification (essential).
-
N6 Certificate in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical sales.

Minimum of 2 years’ management or key accounts experience.

Strong knowledge of electrical products.

Driver’s licence is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office; strong knowledge of K8 systems preferred.
