About the Role
As a Cashier for our new Pedros store in Pinetown, you will be the main point of contact for customer orders and till transactions at our front counter. Operating in a high-energy QSR setup, you will welcome guests, accurately capture food orders, process cash, card, and digital payments, and maintain cash register balances with utmost honesty and accuracy.
This role requires a blend of strong numerical skills, effective queue management, sales orientation, and calm problem-solving. You will work closely with kitchen staff, waitrons, and store supervisors to ensure orders are fulfilled quickly, basic customer queries are resolved, and the counter area remains spotless and welcoming.
Please note: Candidates must possess strong numeracy skills, an honest and reliable work ethic, a neat, professional appearance, and full flexibility to work shift rotas including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities of a Cashier
Point-of-Sale (POS) & Payment Management

Efficiently record customer food and beverage orders using the store’s POS terminal.

Safely process cash, credit/debit card, and mobile or digital payment transactions.
