About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Foreman at Pump and Abrasion Technologies holds complete accountability for the performance, security, and organization of both the primary Steelpoort warehouse and associated consignment stock locations. Working within the mining and metals industry, you will lead staff, enforce strict inventory movement discipline, maintain capital equipment and shelving, and streamline dispatch procedures to meet On-Time In-Full (OTIF) targets.
This position requires a strong operational leader with a Tertiary Qualification (Degree or Diploma), proven experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP environments, hands-on forklift operation capability, and fluency in Afrikaans.
Important Hiring Requirements: Candidates must hold a relevant Degree or Diploma and possess at least 3 years of proven experience in warehouse management and staff supervision within a pressurized environment. Stock Control, MRP & Inventory Accuracy

Oversee and implement Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for warehouse stock holding and sub-jobs, generating accurate MRP reports for management.

Control inventory levels by conducting daily cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and annual stocktakes, reconciling physical stock with ERP data storage systems.

Maintain a proven track record of high stock accuracy, enforcing strict discipline on all stock movements in and out of main and consignment warehouses.

Create and affix standardized warehouse labels, QR codes, and bin location systems; maintain and update floor plans and ERP bin codes.

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, picking, packing, issuing, invoicing, and POD reconciliation, ensuring PODs are always up to date.

Produce regular operational reports, including IN/OUT status reports and dead stock analyses.
Warehouse Leadership & Team Supervision

Supervise, coach, counsel, and motivate warehouse staff, managing daily work rotas, task assignments, and performance appraisals.

Implement operational policies and procedures, ensuring both existing personnel and new hires are fully trained and compliant.

Educational Qualifications & Licensing
