About the Role
The Driver / General All-Rounder position at Jzee Hiring & Events goes beyond standard driving duties. As an essential member of the operational team, you will drive delivery vehicles to supply tables, chairs, glassware, and decor to event venues across the Western Cape. On quieter days, you will switch to warehouse duties, conducting equipment repairs, painting, stock packing, and venue setup support.
This role requires a dependable, physically fit professional with a valid South African driver’s license, PDP, basic tool skills, and a positive “can-do” work ethic.
Important Hiring Requirements: Candidates must possess a valid South African Driver’s License with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit), a clean driving record, and physical fitness for manual loading and offloading of event equipment. Applicants must have strong communication skills, basic handyman/maintenance abilities, and willingness to work flexible weekend hours.
Driving, Deliveries & Equipment Handling

Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport event hiring stock and decor across the region.

Load and offload heavy event gear including tables, chairs, backdrops, stands, and glassware carefully.

Verify loaded quantities against delivery manifests prior to leaving the Goodwood warehouse.

Inspect returned rental stock for damages or missing items upon collection from clients.

Maintain clean company vehicles and immediately report mechanical or maintenance issues to management.
Warehouse & Equipment Maintenance

Perform basic repairs, sanding, painting, and refurbishing of damaged event hire items.

Keep the Goodwood warehouse clean, organized, and logically arranged for rapid order picking.

Pack, pack-check, and stage rental orders for upcoming weekend events.

Working Hours & Shift Expectations

Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM.

Saturdays: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM.

Essential Driving & Legal Certifications
