Practical knowledge of FIFO, HACCP principles, and computer literacy (MS Excel) is essential. A tertiary Certificate in Stores Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics will be advantageous.

Inventory Control, Receiving & Dispatching

  • Receive stock deliveries, verifying quantities, quality standards, and product specifications against purchase orders and delivery notes.

  • Accurately capture intake data onto computer inventory systems and maintain real-time stock balances.

  • Issue stock against authorized requisitions, ensuring signed records for all dispatches.

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts, cycle counts, and variance investigations.

  • Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles to manage product shelf life, monitor high-value stock, and eliminate expired or damaged inventory.

Food Safety, Hygiene & HACCP Compliance

  • Maintain store facilities according to strict HACCP food safety guidelines and Tsebo operational standards.

  • Regularly record and monitor temperature logs for cold rooms, freezers, and dry storage areas.

  • Conduct store routine inspections to verify product labeling, cleanliness, and audit readiness.

Cost Control, Waste Management & Administration

  • Support financial targets by identifying consumption anomalies, minimizing wastage, and controlling shrinkage.

  • Prepare, track, and archive invoices, delivery notes, requisitions, and month-end reconciliation documents.

  • Compile daily variance, stock movement, and wastage reports for management review.

Stakeholder Support & Store Security

  • Collaborate with executive chefs, kitchen supervisors, and managers to ensure optimal stock levels for regular service and special corporate functions.

  • Restrict store access strictly to authorized personnel to safeguard company property and assets.

  • Report store maintenance needs promptly and maintain immaculate housekeeping across all storage zones.

Educational Qualifications
