The Fidelity ADT Monitoring Centre in Vryheid serves as the primary communications hub for local alarm monitoring, emergency response coordination, and client assistance across the district. As a Monitoring Centre Operator, you will sit at the front line of security operations, actively monitoring incoming emergency signals, verifying incidents with clients or key holders, and coordinating immediate field support.

Key Responsibilities

Alarm Signal Monitoring & Dispatch

• Monitor and action incoming emergency, medical, panic, and non-emergency alarm signals in real time.

• Contact premises, client contacts, and key holders telephonically to verify activations and confirm safety status.

• Coordinate, monitor, and support field Armed Response and Patrol resources during call-outs.

• Monitor and report vehicle violations or route deviations using tracking software.

Computer Operations & Administrative Control

• Capture accurate, detailed records of every activation and incident directly into the central computer system.

• Record and report all critical incidents, accidents, or technical faults to the senior supervisor on duty.

• Complete daily administrative duties, including timesheet updates and signal handling logs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workstation in line with control room security standards.

Client Liaison & Service Delivery

• Assist clients telephonically with system queries, false alarm reports, or complaints in a professional, empathetic manner.
