Key Responsibilities
🔩 Customer Liaison & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians throughout the repair process.
- Call customers proactively to advise them of repair progress, completion times, and pick-up schedules.
- Communicate clearly with customers at all levels, from trade professionals to first-time buyers.
- Answer all questions regarding service outcomes, timelines, and expectations in a professional and helpful manner.

- Manage and oversee the Repairs division workflow, ensuring jobs are prioritised, tracked, and completed efficiently.
- Schedule and book service appointments, balancing customer urgency with technician capacity.
- Monitor repair progress to identify bottlenecks and proactively communicate delays to affected customers.
- Coordinate the flow of machinery and tools through the workshop to maintain an organised and efficient repairs environment.
💬 Warranty & Cost Guidance
- Inform customers of applicable warranty protections on products and repair work.
- Advise on cost-saving options, including warranty claims, service plans, and alternative parts where appropriate.
- Accurately document warranty information and ensure all qualifying repairs are correctly processed.
- Ensure customers have a clear understanding of their rights and available remedies under manufacturer warranties.
📁 Administrative & Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service and repair records for all jobs processed through the branch.
- Ensure all customer interactions, job statuses, and repair notes are logged correctly in the relevant systems.
- Support branch management with reporting on repairs volume, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- A relevant technical certificate or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or related field will be advantageous.
Experience
- Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing technical role.
